Far too often in Western Pennsylvania, children and youth are required to sleep in CYS offices or move into congregant care (group homes), lacking proper family structures because of the shortage of foster homes in the region. Adoption Connection, PA is always looking for potential foster families, especially those willing to accept sibling groups, teens, older youth (ages 6+), LGBTQ+ youth, and youth with special needs. If you know someone who is interested in opening their home to children in need or someone who would make an excellent foster family, ask if you can reach out on their behalf to start the process and help them get more information. If you are a resource family with Adoption Connection, PA, you can receive a $100 referral incentive when the family you refer becomes certified through us.
